Marlins Daily is a Miami Marlins blog partnered with ESPN and the ESPN Sweetspot Blog founded by Dave Gershman in June of 2011. The primary goal of Marlins Daily is to discuss and evaluate Marlins Baseball to a much larger extent than what you’ll otherwise find on Marlins blogs. Dave Gershman is a student residing in White Plains, New York with a passion for baseball and it’s 30 teams. The lack of Marlins talk on the internet inspired him to want to dig deeper and promote Marlins baseball even more.

The site is currently run by Ehsan Kassim, who used to be the Editor over at Marlins Fansided site, Marlin Maniac. Ehsan also used to be a contributor over at the SB Nation Marlins site, Fish Stripes, as well as at the Fansided Miami Heat site, All U Can Heat. Ehsan currently is a college student living in Birmingham, Alabama. Ehsan is a passionate Marlins fan, but also has a deep appreciation for the game of baseball.

This Marlins blog is intended to feature sabermetric analysis, general analysis, game-by-game recaps & discussion, rumor, trades & free agent discussion, and whatever else you might expect to see on a Marlins blog.
