Frisaro: Josh Johnson Now Throwing Three Days A Week

The Miami Marlins recently received some fantastic news about their ace Josh Johnson. The right-handed pitcher has been throwing off a mound three days a week, according to Marlins beat writer Joe Frisaro, which is more than a step better than his status earlier in the off-season.

It was reported Sunday that Johnson threw his first bullpen session last Friday and could be ready for workouts on February 22. Johnson claimed that he felt great and he did not feel any pain in his inflamed shoulder that kept him out a majority of the 2011 season.
