Christmas coming early for SoFL baseball fans. Whoda thunk that Loria really wanted to be thought of as Steinbrenner lite? At this point my only skepticism is 1. will the fans truly come out to the stadium and support & 2. how long will the players remain under contract with the Marlins.
Current Marlin ownership extended long-term deals to Delgado, Lo Duca, and Lowell but only had those guys on team with said contract figures for 1 season I believe. Again I’m still skeptical and really think the answer to 2. relies heavily on 1.
